Tower 115 tallest building in Bratislava after antenna added
Bratislava, September 18, 2006 (Bratislava-City.sk) - Bratislava has a new tallest building after the installation of a new mobile network antenna atop the former "Press centrum" office building near the Danube river.
The 28-floor building offering some 32,100 sq.m. of office space has been completely renovated by the domestic developer J&T Global and reopens under a new name Tower 115, reflecting its total height of 115 m (377 ft).
During reconstruction a mobile network antenna was installed using a helicopter, raising the tower's total height and making it the tallest building in the city and also in Slovakia.
The second highest building (National Bank of Slovakia) is only four meters lower. The highest object in Bratislava area is the television transmitter Kamzik with 200 metres.
