Ryanair considering adding Bratislava as a base-agency
Bratislava, January 9, 2005 (BratislavaCity.sk) - Irish low cost airline Ryainair may launch up to 20 routes to the Slovak capital Bratislava in the next few years, the agreement between the operator and Bratislava airport showed, Czech news agency CTK reported on Monday.
RyanAir presently operates routes to London, Milan and Dublin from Bratislava but may bring the total up to 20 and use Bratislava as a base for a number of aircraft, the Bratislava airport spokesman Roman Dibala was quoted as saying.
The Bratislava airport, currently undergoing a sale tender, is already a base for the low cost operator SkyEurope.
